Where does the resold car come from?

The 42,998 ownership transfers of 2025, split by how the car joined the Spanish fleet: registered new here or imported second-hand.

An imported car is resold much sooner once it is here: one in four of its transfers comes in its first month on Spanish plates (25.2%), against 1.6% for cars registered new in Spain.
